B.S. DEGREE IN Nutrition, Human Nutrition and Dietetics Concentration

The Human Nutrition and Dietetics concentration develops and educates students for positions as nutritionists in schools, health services, and community settings; and for entry into a dietetic internship.

B.S. DEGREE IN Nutrition, Nutrition and Wellness Concentration

The Nutrition and Wellness concentration prepares students for careers in volunteer and community health organizations, worksite wellness programs, and the fitness industry.

B.S. DEGREE IN Nutrition, Nutrition Science Concentration

The Nutrition Science concentration prepares students in the science of nutrition for graduate school or advanced degree in medicine and science. 

Minor in Nutrition

A minor in Nutrition can be beneficial to students pursuing an undergraduate degree in a scientific, clinical, or medical based field such as Kinesiology, Nursing, Public Health.

Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD)

This program is intended for students who wish to become Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN). Our program provides students with the coursework necessary to apply for a supervised practice program in dietetics. Students successfully completing didactic program requirements at UNCG are issued a DPD verification statement as proof of program completion.
